FSC® - forest management certification

Certification ensures that company is using raw material from forests that are manged according to FSC. FSC certification confirms that the forest is being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring it sustains economic viability. FSC certified forests are managed to strict environmental, social and economic standards.

All the materials used in products bearing this label are sourced from forests that have been audited by an independent third party to confirm they are managed according to FSC’s rigorous social and environmental standards. Of all the FSC labels, FSC 100% contributes most directly to FSC’s objective—forests for all, forever—and is therefore the highest mark of distinction for certified products.

The FSC Principles and Criteria provide a foundation for all forest management standards globally.

Indoor climate label certification

A healthy indoor climate is very important for how we feel. This certificate ensures that mouldings have no problems with degassing of chemicals that are harmful to health.
The indoor climate label sets requirements for the product. There is an upper limit for how large the degassing may be, just as there are requirements for which substances may be degassed. For example, carcinogens must not be released from the products. In addition, there are requirements for the odor impression from the product.
The indoor climate label, unlike other eco-labels, sets requirements for the product in its use phase. For one thing is the content of chemical substances in the product, something else is which substances are released into the air.
An indoor climate-labeled product has undergone extensive testing and has documentation for the release of chemical substances into the air. Indoor climate-labeled materials are a natural part of sustainable construction, where good indoor air quality contributes to social sustainability.
